Scout & Guide-Advanture programme schedule

Sub: NATIONAL ADVENTURE PROGRAMME from October 2011 to January, 2012.
Sir / Madam,
Adventure is not only for fun and entertainment but also for education. To be with nature in its present form is of up most important in our life. It surely satisfies our truth seeking hunger. Pachmarhi provides such a multitude of natural attraction and its spell is so deep that one cannot resist the temptation of visiting again and again this land.
We have great pleasure to announce the Adventure Programme to be conducted at National Adventure Institute of Bharat Scouts & Guides at Pachmarhi, Dist. Hoshangabad (M.P) 461881 during the Winter season of 2011. Our Adventure Programmes are open to all the young people of 12 to 45 years of age
Arrival: Forenoon of the first day. Departure: At 11.00 AM on last day.
For the booking of seats : Registration Fee Rs. 100/-per head is to be sent in advance which is non –refundable but can be adjusted in other programmes within two years (financial years). The Demand Draft of State Bank of India should be in favour of “The National Adventure Institute of Bharat Scouts & Guides”, payable at State Bank of India, Pachmarhi, Code No. 1046. The balance Fee can be deposited by cash on arrival. Total fee will cover all expenses on programme such as food, accommodation, training, equipment and other miscellaneous expenses. The Registration Fee or Camp Fee can also be deposited directly to NAI Bank Account No. 30438830963 (IFS Code of State Bank Pachmarhi is SBIN000 1046) with an intimation to National Adventure Institute.
Booking will be made on ‘first come first serve basis’. Information of selection will be sent on receipt of Registration Fee of Rs. 100/- per head along with list of participants (with Name, age and Sex). Duly filled Application with Medical & Risk Forms are to be submitted at the time of reporting in the camp. One Escort must be deputed with a group of 8 to 15 boys/girls. Lady escort must be deputed with the female participants. Escorts should also register and pay the full fee along with Application, Medical & Risk Certificate. No one is permitted to stay in the camp without registration and Medical Fitness certificate.
Eligibility : 12 to 45 years of aged medically and physically fit who can bear the strain of trekking for 12 K.M. per day. Special consideration of age limit for escorting teachers can be given on request.
Programme : Tentative Programme may be, trekking to Bee Fall / Apsara Vihar, Chauragarh/Mahadev, Pandav Caves, Jatashanker, Rajendra Giri, Handi Khow, Richh Garh etc. Besides these Horse Riding, Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Rifle Shooting, Pistol shooting, Archery, skating etc. Games and every day Camp Fire are the other attractive activities of the programme. The Parasailing may also be done on demand and on payment as per fixed rate.
The participants will bring following materials with them which will be verified on arrival.
1.Two No. of Stamp size colored photograph.
2.Water bottle, Plate (Thali), Glass or Mug, Spoon, Torch, Knife etc.
3.Note book, Pen, First Aid Kit, Cold Cream, Water Purifying Tablets, and Odomas etc.
4.Toilet requisites.
5.Hunter / Sport Shoes, Extra Pairs of Socks & Sleeper.
6.Sleeping bag / Blankets, Winter Cloths, full sleeves T. Shirt and Navy Blue Jeans, extra wearing cloths and costumes for cultural items. (For Scouts & Guides only – correct and complete uniform as per APRO Part – II & III). Pachmarhi temperature during winger will be very cold. Bedding and clothing may be brought accordingly.
7.MALARIA TEST REPORT (test done within a week before departure) has to be brought by individual failing which admission will not be given.
8.Any other items as per the need of the Individual
Safety : The Bharat Scouts & Guides takes every care of the participants sincerely, but the National Adventure Institute of Bharat Scouts & Guides, Pachmarhi will not be held responsible for any accident, illness or injury during the programme. The escorting teachers should take extra care of their students before the camp, during the camp and after the camp.
Note:
1.Medical Checkup should be done strictly as most of the participants after reaching Pachmarhi are unable to take part in all the activities. All participants should take T.T. Injection before they depart for the camp.
2.Our Camp Doctor will provide medical assistance and general medicines will be available in First Aid Box of Institute. Extra medicines for individuals will be purchased by the concern.
3.Accommodation will be in tent only. No accommodation will be available in permanent shelter.
4.Escorting teachers should remain with participants at all times.
5.Without selection letter participants will not be admitted in the camp.
6.Only BSNL network is available in Pachmarhi.
7.Pachmarhi is a polythene free area and during our Programme all the participants are helping in cleaning of the visited spots by removing polythene and wrappers etc. Hence no one should bring polythene with them.

Scout & Guide Important Letter

Sub: Inter State Cultural Exchange Programme & Study Tour-Unauthorised
action of District/ State of Bharat Scouts & Guides Association
Dear Sir/ Madam,
Instances have come to the notice of the Bharat Scouts & Guides that some State Associations or their District Associations in violation to the existing rules of Bharat Scouts & Guides, contact Overseas Countries directly for exchange programme of their Scouts/Guides and Adult leaders or any other programme. One such a case pertains to Satara District of Maharashtra State Bharat Scouts & Guides who have contacted Nepal Scouts directly for a Cultural Exchange Programme and Study Tour. This is a serious violation of existing Rule of Bharat Scouts & Guides. In this connection, attention is invited to Rule 9(c ) Chapter VII of APRO Part I which states:-
“ No member of Bharat Scouts & Guides shall participate, camp, represent in any of the International Event in the Foreign Countries without the prior sanction of the home State Headquarters and the National Headquarters. He/She should carry with him/her an International letter of introduction issued by the National Headquarters.”
You are, therefore, requested to please note that such an unauthorised actions by District/State Association will be a serious violations of existing rules and may render the District/State Associations liable for disciplinary actions as required under Rules

छुट्टियों का भी वेतन मिले कांट्रैक्ट टीचर को हाईकोर्ट ने लागू किया सुप्रीम कोर्ट का फैसला

चंडीगढ़। कालेजों या स्कूलों में कांट्रैक्ट पर रखे टीचरों के लिए यह खबर खुशखबरी वाली है। पंजाब और हरियाणा हाईकोर्ट ने निर्देश दिए हैं कि कांट्रैक्ट पर रखे टीचर को सेशन के बीच या गर्मियों की छु्ट्टी के दौरान भी वेतन और अन्य लाभ मिलते रहेंगे।
कालेजों में खाली पदों पर कांट्रैक्ट के आधार पर टीचर रखे जाते हैं और सेशन की समाप्ति पर हटा देते हैं और सेशन शुरू होने पर फिर से रख लेते हैं। इस तरह करीब चार महीने तक उन्हें वेतन से वंचित कर दिया जाता है। पंजाब के कालेजों से ऐसे कई टीचरों ने वकील एचसी अरोड़ा के माध्यम से हाईकोर्ट में गत मार्च में याचिका दायर कर दी। इसमें दलील दी गई कि यह प्रैक्टिस सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा रतनलाल बनाम हरियाणा सरकार के फैसले में दिए फैसले के खिलाफ है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने न केवल इस प्रैक्टिस को गलत करार दिया था, बल्कि हरियाणा सरकार को निर्देश दिए कि दो सेशन के बीच एडहॉक टीचरों को वेतन दिया जाए। अगर कोई महिला टीचर प्रसूति पर जाती है तो उसे भी पूरा लाभ दिया जाए। इस याचिका पर सुनवाई करते हुए जस्टिस प्रमोद कोहली ने गत मार्च में यथास्थिति बनाए रखने के आदेश दिए थे।

प्रिंसिपल ने टीचर को कोर्ट में सौंपा वेतन
नाभा स्थित सरकारी रिपुदमन कालेज में सेल्फ फाइनेंस कोर्स के तहत कांट्रैक्ट पर लगी कंप्यूटर साइंस की लेक्चरर कनुप्रिया को कालेज के प्रिंसिपल ने 31 मार्च को हटा दिया। प्रिया ने हाईकोर्ट में गुहार लगाई और प्रिंसिपल के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करने की मांग की। हाईकोर्ट ने प्रिंसिपल को नोटिस जारी कर दिया। शुक्रवार 13 मई को सुनवाई हुई तो प्रिंसिपल ने न केवल कनुप्रिया को अप्रैल महीने के वेतन का चेक दे दिया, बल्कि अदालत को विश्वास दिलाया कि कनुप्रिया हाजिरी रजिस्टर पर हाजिरी लगाती रहेगी। अगली सुनवाई अब 16 अगस्त को होगी।
